SUMMARY:One-Day Retreat with the Scholé Sisters
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday January 24\, 2026 from 8:45am – 5:00pm in Buford\, GA for a day of encouragement\, refreshment\, and connection with local homeschooling moms! \n\n\n\nThis one-day retreat is perfect for new and seasoned homeschooling moms of all backgrounds. Mothers with children who are not yet school-aged have also said they love these retreats.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll have small group discussion\, lunch\, and time for personal reflection. These retreats are always full of biblical encouragement\, inspiration\, and practical takeaways–and midwinter always feels like the perfect time to pause\, reflect\, and connect.  \n\n\n\nThis Year’s Theme: Curriculum\n\n\n\nScholé Sisters podcast hosts and popular conference speakers Mystie Winkler\, Brandy Vencel\, and Abby Wahl will provide recorded video talks aimed to encourage and equip.   \n\n\n\nThis year’s theme is Curriculum–curriculum defined as your path\, your family culture\, and you modeling being an educated person in front of your kids.  \n\n\n\nFrom The Scholé Sisters’ website: “What we believe about curriculum: Curriculum is formative. DESCRIPTION:Steadfast\n\n\n\nWherever we are in our mothering and homeschooling journeys\, we want to run our race faithfully to the end. Each season is different in its joys and challenges\, but thankfully\, our God and His steadfast love never change! His mercies are new every day\, and He enables us to “be steadfast\, immovable\, always abounding in the work of the Lord\, knowing that our labor is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58) \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin us on Saturday\, August 8th in Buford\, GA from 9am-12:30pm for a morning of fellowship\, biblical encouragement\, and thoughtful conversation around the topic: Steadfast.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSpeakers Heather Tully and Sara Fragoso will explore questions like:  \n\n\n\n\nHow can we joyfully persevere in homeschooling through the years?  \n\n\n\nWhy and how to build a shared family culture?\n\n\n\nHow can we face the unexpected with hope?\n\n\n\nWhat are the best investments we can make during the younger years?\n\n\n\nHow do we avoid what can so easily entangle us as homeschooling moms? \n\n\n\nHow can we maintain strong relationships with our kids as they get older? \n\n\n\n\nFollowing our speakers’ talks\, we’ll have a Q & A time with a panel of seasoned homeschooling moms. We’ll also have group discussion\, resource tables\, refreshments\, and time to connect with other moms seeking to raise and educate their kids in the Lord. \n\n\n\nRegistration will open in mid-July.
