Paideia Southeast Conference: Rooted

Join us as we learn how to root our families in the Lord and cultivate godly culture in our homes.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for committing to speak at the upcoming Paideia Southeast conference, Rooted, in Buford, Georgia on June 11, 2022.

Our mission is to equip, encourage, and connect Christian women as they raise and educate their children in the paideia of the Lord by hosting local, in-person events, by prioritizing principles over methods, and by building bridges between families committed to Christian education, whether homeschooling or enrolling in day schools.

We are delighted to provide this annual conference right here in the Atlanta area to encourage, uplift, and build community amongst moms raising children in the nurture, admonition, and wisdom of the Lord.

As it is helpful to have a general understanding and agreement of responsibilities and terms, please peruse this Speaker Packet to confirm details, and please let us know via email (paideiasoutheast@gmail.com) of any amendments necessary, or any questions we can answer. We are honored to have you and are eager to make this arrangement a mutual blessing.

Speaker Commitment

Speaker Commits to: 

• present one 45-minute keynote session to encourage Christian moms to seek paideia in educating their children on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Buford, GA 
• join the Q&A panel with fellow speakers and Paideia team members
• being on premise from 8:30am – 5:30pm on 06/12/21 unless other arrangements have been made, to provide the opportunity for conversation, answering questions, and pursuing wisdom with attendees 
• provide Paideia Southeast with some type of outline, bullet points, or topic description no later than May 11, 2022 for inclusion in the conference journal 
• being amplified & recorded during the sessions with the understanding that distribution to conference registrants will occur post-event (with no intent of future sales or compensatory negotiations)

Paideia Southeast Commitment

Paideia Southeast Commits to provide you with: 

• ad space for your business/books in the conference journal (see below for specifications)
• space to display your logo on our website
• vendor space for your business/books at the event 
• a meal in the catered Fellowship Luncheon at the event 
• a dinner with Paideia Southeast team members, speakers, and spouses following the event 
• $400 honorarium at the event on 06/11/2022
• Up to $200 reimbursement towards
  • overnight accommodations
  • meals
  • travel (We will work individually with speakers traveling greater distances)

Conference Session Titles and Notes for Speakers

In the garden metaphor:

• The SOIL The SOIL is everything we need for the paideia of the Lord (the Word, the indwelling Holy Spirit, a relationship, etc.). The soil is their “normal,” their family culture.
• The PLANTS are the children.
• The GARDENER is the mother
